Ozark Brewing Taproom
A former auto-repair garage transformed into a vibrant taproom and brewery, celebrating the building's industrial bones while creating a warm, inviting gathering space.
The Ozark Brewing Taproom occupies a 4,800-square-foot former auto-repair garage on Rogers’ emerging warehouse row. The building’s steel structure, concrete floors, and roll-up doors provided an honest canvas for a brewery taproom that celebrates craft and community.
Adaptive Reuse
We preserved the original steel trusses and exposed them as a defining architectural element. The existing roll-up garage doors were retained and fitted with insulated glass panels, creating dramatic openings that connect the taproom to a gravel beer garden.
Interior Experience
The design creates a journey from the intimate entry bar to the expansive main hall, where long communal tables sit beneath pendant lights suspended from the original trusses. A tasting counter along the glass wall offers views into the brewing operation.
Materials
Reclaimed white oak, blackened steel, and polished concrete form the material palette — tough enough for a working brewery, warm enough for a neighborhood gathering place. Custom steel-and-oak shelving displays the brewery’s rotating lineup.
